COVIVD CAN’T STOP CREATIVITY!

Yes this is all a bit crazy and a bit scary, but we can make it, and learning can continue. It just may look different.

In our last post we explained that due to the coronavirus, all of the world has been deeply impacted, including education. Solve in Time! Premium cards may be delayed, but they are definitely underway! Also, we have added several free resources on the web page, and have secretly been working on some remote learning options of Solve in Time! Whether you are more interested based on the platform or the opportunity to present live or self-paced, see some of these options below.

Self-Paced at Different Times in Small groups using Flipgrid. See this grid at flipgrid.com/solveitremote and feel free to join in the current conversation. Positives: If you are already familiar with Flipgrid, you can navigate through the various topics and see how to recreate them. You can also reach out directly and I will gladly make you a co-pilot for you to duplicate and edit on your own! Drawbacks: this format can be a little more complex for students or educators that are less familiar with how grids and topics work.

Teacher-Guided Live Small Group Facilitation Using Google Slides During a Video Conference (like Google Meet or Zoom). Positives: The pay off is super-rewarding as this is the closest to the live classroom experience. Drawbacks: This process may be the most difficult to pull-off solely because it requires the use of break out rooms, and multiple group leaders.

Simple reminder, anything new is just an experiment. Try, reflect, and adapt as necessary! What do you think of these options? Have thoughts on how they can be improved? Please feel free to share and keep problem-solving while staying safe!
